1. Who we are

Meesho Profit (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at https://meeshoprofit.in (the “Service”). The Service is a free web application that lets Meesho sellers upload the payment report XLSX file they download from the Meesho Seller Panel and view a calculated profit-and-loss breakdown.

We are an independent, third-party tool. We are not owned by, affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Meesho, Fashnear Technologies Private Limited, or any of their subsidiaries. “Meesho” is a registered trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe the type of seller data our tool works with.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email, display name, and profile photo URL associated with your Google account.
  • Uploaded files. You can upload the Meesho payment XLSX report. We store the file and the rows we parse from it (order IDs, SKU, sub-order status, listed price, settlement amount, commissions, shipping charges, RTO charges, and similar fields found in the Meesho payment statement).
  • Cost inputs. If you enter per-product costs such as packaging, shipping, or overhead, we store those values against your account so your dashboards stay accurate.
  • Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and your reply address so we can respond.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Authentication metadata. Firebase Authentication records sign-in timestamps, the authentication method used (email or Google), and an anonymous user ID.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used for security and for diagnosing errors.
  • Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences. See section 6.

2.3 What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not collect your Meesho Seller Panel password, bank account numbers, Aadhaar, PAN, or any government ID. Do not upload documents that contain them. If you do, email us and we will delete the file.

3. How we use your information

  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To parse your uploaded payment report and calculate dashboards, product-wise P&L, order breakdowns, and margin metrics.
  • To store your files and settings so your data is there the next time you sign in.
  • To respond to support requests and fix reported issues.
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
  • To understand, in aggregate and without personally identifying you, which parts of the product are used so we can improve them.

We do not use your seller-level financial data to train machine learning models, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Where your data is stored

Meesho Profit is built on Google Firebase. Your account, uploaded files, and parsed rows are stored in Firebase services (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Storage for Firebase, and Firebase Realtime Database or Cloud Firestore) operated by Google LLC. Data is processed in the Firebase region we have configured and is subject to Google's security, encryption at rest, and compliance controls.

Firebase access is governed by security rules so that only the signed-in user can read or write their own data. Administrative access is restricted to the site operators and is used only for support and abuse investigation.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure providers we rely on to run the Service. Today that is Google (Firebase) for hosting, authentication, storage, and database.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when we receive a valid legal request and are required to respond. We will notify you where we are legally permitted to do so.
  • A future buyer or successor if the Service is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You'll be notified before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries:

  • Authentication cookies set by Firebase to keep you signed in. These are essential; blocking them will sign you out.
  • Preference storage in your browser's local storage so the UI remembers simple choices such as sort order.
  • Anonymous product analytics, where enabled, to count page views and feature usage in aggregate. These do not read your seller data.

If we later introduce third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, we will update this page and show a consent banner where required. Any such ads would be placed only on public, content-rich pages and never inside your private dashboard.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Account data is kept while your account is active.
  • Uploaded files and parsed rows are kept until you delete them or close your account.
  • Technical logs are kept for a short rolling window (typically up to 90 days) for security and debugging.
  • Support emails are kept for up to two years so we can reference prior conversations.

When you delete an item or an account, it is removed from our live systems. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten on the normal backup cycle.

8. Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

  • View the files and data associated with your account.
  • Delete an uploaded file from your dashboard.
  • Export your parsed data as an XLSX or CSV file.
  • Close your account and request deletion of all associated data by emailing us (see section 12).

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the GDPR (EU/EEA), the UK GDPR, or other regional laws — including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us and we will action your request within the timelines the applicable law requires.

9. Security

Traffic to and from meeshoprofit.in is served over HTTPS. Stored data is encrypted at rest by Firebase. Access to administrative systems is protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No online service can be guaranteed 100 percent secure, so please choose a strong, unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been accessed without your permission.

10. Children

Meesho Profit is built for adults running commercial selling operations. It is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised policy.
